"LESBIAN was formed on a whim in April of 2004 by members of Pacific Northwest thunder-sludge bands Golgothan Sunrise, Asva and The Abodox for a one-off set at Seattle's Funhouse. The response was so overwhelming that guitarists Arran McInnis and Daniel La Rochelle, bassist/vocalist Dorando Hodous and drummer Benjamin Kennedy decided to continue on with LESBIAN as their primary focus.
Forestelevision is the band's third full-length offering and Translation Loss debut. The release is LESBIAN's epic journey through a single 44+ minute song, an all-encompassing force of nature! Never has an album sifted through the deepest trenches of prog-influenced epic-doom and blackened metal to produce such an awe-inspiring aural assault to the senses. Forestelevision was recorded at Avasti Studios with long time producing collaborator Randall Dunn (Wolves in the Throne Room, Earth, Boris) and mastered by Jason Ward at CMS. Gatefold 2LP-set with artwork by Arik Roper and an exclusive vinyl only bonus track.
